Delivery of the report by Ségolène Royal on renewable energies in Africa New York, 20 September 2016. At the meeting of African heads of state on the Africa Renewable Energy Initiative, in the presence of François Hollande, French president, and several African leaders - notably Al-Sissi, president of Egypt, Alpha Condé, president of Guinea, Macky Sall, president of Senegal, Hailemariam Desalegn, Ethiopian prime minister, and Salaheddine Mezouar, Moroccan foreign minister and future president of COP22 - Ségolène Royal presented her report on the Initiative and the list of concrete renewable energy projects in Africa, as a decision-making tool to contribute to the acceleration of the Initiative.
